What do you think a good 16:9 resolution would be for a game?

The highest resolution on my laptop is 1366x768.
Fixing the game is a better game than actually playing it.

Yeah, that seems to be a very popular choice and I went with it from the start... turns out it isn't exactly 100% 16:9 and not one of the natives. Should have polled 1366x768 vs 1280x720.

Would it be problematic to have 1920x1080?

The "Decent" screen resolution I would say is 1280x720. As this is a very common resolution.

We went with 1280x720, it will scale up/down without issues. Other ratios than 16:8 will just have two black blank-spaces when in full screen mode. Results were the same across all forums...
