Nope. Alkion's development is still alive and well. I've started my own project for a number of reasons like:

1) I cannot code on Eliont's level but want to learn. I've learned all I could from Alkion development and now want to practice coding instead of studying it all the time.

2) First step of my project is to make a game similar to SimBrothel. Next step is advance it to a game similar to WM. Alkion went astray as a concept and now barely resembles original WM. I want to keep more hentai with nice quests, less RPG. Crew wants to RPG the living shit out of it.

3) I am using a lot of backbone code from Alkion so packs and many other stuff can be used in both games, that can eventually be beneficial for both projects.

Thanks, I'll see if I can upload a prealpha version tomorrow. There is nothing to do but to jump around screens at this point but it has one short quest to get Tifa from FF VII already :)

Released a 'development snapshot' version on the front page. This is obviously not playable yet.

Things that work: (Not many things do work I am afraid :( )

- Jumping around screens
- Buying girls
- Buying equipment for girls but ONLY dresses will actually do something. Items can be bought but have no effect.
- Buying brothels
- Buying upgrades/advertising can be bough but doesn't change anything.
- Battle Test (Will randomly choose between Hinata and Sakura even if you don't own them)
- Tifa's quest can be accessed on/after Day 6.
- Next week button with limited texts for working jobs (Rest and Whoring)

gave it a try found you could not unasign girls from rooms when they are hurt or fatigued. other wise i like what you are doing on this looks really great

I didn't know about that bug, it's easy to fix.

I am not sure if you meant the same thing as Tl but they are not supposed to be reassigned from the brothel when you set them to rest.

There will be 3 kinds of 'resting':
 Resting in brothel (Loads of fatigue gone, small amount of health gained).
 Resting outside of brothel, some fatigue gone, little bit of health LOST if girl is homeless and about the same recovery as resting in brothel if she has a place of her own.
 Resting in Hospital to recover health quickly.

 Girls will be able to strip in your brothel without taking a room if they have a place of their own. Whoring will always require a room, regardless of where she sleeps. Having own house will have effect on Character. Slaves obviously cannot own their own buildings.

 They will not refuse work only cause they have high character in this game like they did in the original. They will refuse work if costumer is a lot uglier than them and they have high character, if costumer has a trait they don't like (Like huge dick or being a retard) and they have a high character or if costumer's 'Caste' (Beggar, Peasant) is below their rank as prostitutes. Lower caste costumers will not come to brothels of high reputation at all (This part has already been partly coded in by the way).

 The gameplay will be about completing simple missions/quests and making sure your brothels are filled with the right kind of girls rather than constantly having to reassign girls from work to resting and back againt like in many other SimBrothels (I really hate that part). That type of reassigning will be automated or made VERY easy with lists and warning during the next day.

 At least that's the idea for now.

"New day" screen needs some improvements. It's not a problem for now, but when we'll have more than three characters it will be difficult to play without any sorting options at all.

Most definitely guards for versions over 1.0. I don't know if guards and especially gangs are needed for SimBrothel version but both are fairly easy to code (gangs are prolly even easier since there are fewer texts and pictures).

For SimBrothel versions I wanted warrior types to be able to work as security escorts and battle girls in Arena. Basically I have a good idea on how to code a scenario where not only the girls that you own but all Warrior type girls in the game (along with a large number of generic girls you cannot get), occasionally compete in Arena for nice sums of cash. That way your girls can autobattle or controlled battle with other girls in the game (that are not currently yours) advancing their battle stats.

Another thing planned (and also very easy to do) is to allow all girls to advance their skills and stats and traits while not working for you. So as you progress in the game, for girls that you do not yet have, relevant stats  (based on their types (types are 'whore' - sexstats/traits, 'warrior' = battlestats/traits, 'slave' = obedience/disposition/a bit of sex/battlestats, 'free' = charisma/refinement + relevant traits and so on)) will increase. This whole thing can be taken care of with 100 - 150 lines of code so that should be easy.
