I tried Hentai High for the first time yesterday. There's probably something neat going on with the colors and stuff, but I'll be damned if I know what it is; I see lots of options and stats but there's barely any indication of what anything does. It seems like a game that I'd want to play if it was less obtuse, but as it is, it felt so confusing and random that I couldn't be bothered to spend any time on it.

The reason we talk more about Hentai Highschool is it is one of the games Pooolka made that nobody else is trying to fix. Slavemaker is going well an it's forum is alive an kicking. Simbro 2 is not moving much as Karel_II is the only programmer working the code an it's forum is pretty much dieing. This forum here is alive with good people an awsome programmers. I think most of the people here that have played Hentai Highschool really want to make it better an do it justice.

I hope it's not the case! Just, y'know... once the code is all sorted I'm sure the game development'll hit overdrive, but as it stands right now it's... well, quiet. There's only so much you can say while waiting for a new version that hasn't already been said, y'know?

Shame, too, as it's a wonderful game and I dig it.

Speaking of which, if you need any help with Hentai High School, I'll help in whatever meager way possible. I'm fairly useless, but if you find a use for a writer who has a lot of time on her hands, gimme a holler.

I'd love to help out, but I never did get the hang of splitting my time between projects. I always end up working flat out on one and neglecting the other. So I think I better stick with WM.

Don't worry, I went with python and pygame for Hentai High School which should reduce the dev time and the total bugs since I don't have to worry about memory management.

As a way of contributing a game to this thread, the game that has been eating alot of my time recently is Sengoku Rance, which can be found on here along with a link to where you can find an english translation patch. It's a stratagy game with hentai scenes placed throughout it.









I find it's a rather fun game and one of the few on that blog that is actually interesting and something that you want to play instead of using a completed save game to see eveything from the start..
