I don't know if this helps, but in their FAQ it says IrfanView can be used on linux
Quote
Q: Can I use IrfanView on Linux?
A: Yes. There is no native-Linux   version of IrfanView. However, you can use IrfanView in conjunction with   Linux programs like WINE, Windows Linux emulators and Linux-based   virtual machines. Take the ZIP   version of IrfanView and unzip it or copy your existing Windows   IrfanView folder to Linux. This is easier because the installer may need   additional Windows DLLs to run.  See instructions on: IrfanView on Linux with Wine

If you are going the wine route, I would go with a light-weight browser called srware iron and the windows version of flash for that. That combination I know will activate the internal connection blocker within the window's version of flash which the person must allow to connect.

Has anyone played true love? I'll upload it in a little bit, but it's a great game and one of the few visual novel games where you have stats. It's also one of the few in english. Hahaha

Wow. True Love. That takes me back...
And a friend in another forum posted a pic of the game recently.
Could that be you, Mehzerz?

lol i'm afraid not. But it's one of the few H games I really read through and enjoyed for the story.

I also enjoyed one that took place in a mansion THAT YOU COULD NEVER LEAVE... forgot what it's called but it's another classic.

There's one game that was released in english... it's a card battle game? I heard that was good aswell.

Only translated Text ADV H game I ever liked was divi dead. Though I think that was just because of the "newness" of playing H-games for the first time.

And that mansion game sounds a bit familiar... think it was translated by the same people that did the above.

Well this isn't a hentai game but it is a hell of a lot of fun, only the demo is available now. Many of you may or may not have played the jap version of the game.

Oh and this game doesn't have a release date yet but should be soon, it will be priced at around US$20 so since its an indie company it will be a good purchase.

Looks kind of fun.  I'm actually surprised it's a PC game as the graphic style looked like something published by NIS.  Interesting blurb from the FAQ:

But doesn't that mean I can just pirate your game?
or
But aren't you afraid of getting pirated into oblivion?

Well,   we'll say this: Recettear would be pirated regardless of whether we   used copy protection or not. We're adults and we understand that our   work will be stolen by someone who doesn't want to pay for it; that's   how the Internet works in this day and age. Any prospective pirates who   enjoy our work, however, must realize that we can only continue to   produce localizations for games - and possibly help foster new projects   on our own - if we make enough money to make a living at it.

If you like the game even a little bit, please purchase it. We respect   our customers enough to not put any invasive DRM programs into Recettear   - we hope the respect will be repaid in kind.

If only larger publishers would wake up to this.  DRM doesn't do anything but mess with paying customers.
