edit: no but seriously, my Mobo is a relic. Could probably bring everything up to spec for around 300 bucks. That's a lot to play Starcraft 2 though.  :D

who says it has to be just for starcraft 2, there are other Pc games out tthere that you may like that need as much memeory as starcraft

Yeah, I really can't think of a good reason not to upgrade. Should have at least kept current with the "Doubling of teh pipes" Oh well, I'll go sulk in a corner.  :-[
