Title: NOOB questions

I have what i feel is a few Noobish questions, even though I just found the game about 3 hours ago.
   Just how the hell do you add a girl to your team, and can you remove yourself from the team and have it just be a girl's team??

1) Go to girls profile screen and look at the mid-left position of the top-stripe.
2) It is impossible to remove mc from the team.
