They're just about to the point where the latest build is stable - once they get the building screen to stop crashing, they'll release 1.30.

To be honest, I think we might release it crash and all. It's not like you need the building screen to play the game at the moment - hell you can only access it through a keyboard shortcut. And I think we need to get the release process going again if we're going to maintain any sort of momentum.

Indeed.  Keeping momentum and interest is especially important considering this game depends more heavily on user content than most.  The more people that are excited for it, the more testing, feedback and content you get.

If it's pretty much working at this point, fire it off.  100+ people testing it will flush out issues far quicker than 3.

I'm gonna have to agree with sgb. Many people playing or testing the game to find bugs or problems will free up more time that can be used for yourself...  ;) or smashing those bugs you do know about.

Well, it is another beta. It can't be perfect. Just release it as is. I'm sure that all complaints can be redressed once people get the chance to check out the game themselves.

I think 1.30 burned out our coders lol. A HUGE update all at once is something WM isn't used to. Once this update comes out hopefully the next ones won't be so taxing on them. D:
