Max Number of Controlled Gangs

Is there any way to alter the max number of controlled gangs?

Yes you can do this by going to the whoremaster folder then go to doc and tools then go to the folder inside of it named char. & item editor. You will find wmedit open it. On one of the tabs it say game configuration go to it. On the bottom of the wmedit you'll find something that say load config. The config is in the whoremaster folder open it and just change what you want.

Config doesn't alter maximum controllable amount of gangs. I guess you could recompile with things changed, but that's outside my area of experience.

You do get another controllable gang for each new brothel you buy.
