Which is the best quality of image to be chosen

Hello,


I just finish to resize 2 folder for test size of 820*705 and i wanted to know what quality is the best for i continue to work with other folder .
I link the both version for comparate : 500*500 (i begin to work because of pb of resize of some picture) and 820*705

I can only speak for the game requirement and common sense. You generally don't need battle sprites larger than 200x200. Portraits are even less than that, maybe 120x120. Most 'content' images are the file-size I mentioned earlier. Upsizing the files makes NO sense as the game will do so anyway and you are not likely to get better quality.

A lot of thought was out by Dark into making the packs which we have now, so you can always take a look at those and act accordingly!

so can i let the size of picture i find ? often common picture (not portrait and sprite or battle sprite) are more of 800*800; sometimes i have 2000 or 4000 * x, i thinked to resize too the picture for post later with my limited count mega.

We have scripts to resize images automatically and every developer has his own setup. Just look at Dark's packs, it's fairly straightforward.

IF you were just sharing pics, a large resolution would be fine, but these are used for a game where they never get shown very large and the game  can scale automatically, so it is best to slightly under size pic to keep the archive smaller and reduce download time.
