Yeah, Now that I think About it, Persona came out on the ps1 in the days before "Barret's Shit storm" Which is what I like to call all the cursing in ff7. That was a real turning point for console gaming.

And I'll have to look up the persona 2 fan translation. since that's one of the few games I haven't played from the series.

My point is still sorta valid for persona 3 and 4 though.

Yeah, I forget what religion the bad guy is from in 3 but in 4 it's the Japanese gods for life and death.

And yes, revival of Hitler, potential gay relationship, few other things I believe. But at the time it was definitely too "taboo" for the US ESRB.

P3 was Nyx, a Greek goddess and as Wikipedia puts it the primordial goddess of the night.

Wandering back on topic for a moment, there doesn't seem to be a way to make this Wave thing public yet. Anyone who wants to get at it, PM me with an email address and I'll add you to the wave contacts page, which should do it.

If you don't want to use your email addy, register for the wave and you'll get a google one :)

OK, I think I've got this wave thing under control now. It's a bit of a faff to get access though.

  • register for google wave
  • note the email address you are given by wave ([email protected])
  • PM me with that email asking to be added to the wave
  • I can then add you to the individual waves making up the discussion, and they'll show up in your inbox
It's also possible to do this with non-googlewave addresses, but I've not tried that yet.

Kudo to Crazy for helping me sort this out.

If we don't have one... a development wiki would be cool to have as well.
(Coming from someone who doesn't have a wave account)

That's more or less what I'm using the wave for.

Sign up and send me your account id and you can see for yourself.

Well, hopefully it's going to be complimentary.

Seems more like a place for Doc to keep notes and development progress. The boards kind of mirror that to an extent... the only thing you miss out in wave (that I can think of off hand) is some of the development ideas going into clone master and a more specific look at some other ideas for WM. Other than that, they do really go hand in hand.

I just read that Google intends to close down Wave by the end of the year. It might be a good idea to check if it's true or not and start looking for alternatives if it is.

( I found the news on the online version of an italian newspaper here's the link if you feel to check it out

That's a bit of a shame. I think they might have got the uptake they were looking for in another year or so. Still, it's not without it's problems, I have to admit.

I'll have to look for a new home for my design and dev notes. The PPG forum is the obvious choice, although I'll miss the indented lists. Probably need a clonemaster subforum if that's doable. I might cast around for some sort of wiki as well.

Oh well, no immediate rush, I suppose...
