how to play .gif files?

in some of the user mods, i found some  .gif files such as sexgif.gif
any ideas on how to play these? as well as the ani if anyone knows

well, I just use the picture viewer that came with my computer, but you could also use infranview if you have it. not the picture editing programs (like paint) but what ever the other one is...

A tool comes with the game to turn them into ani images for the game to read. It's in docs & tools along with an example and instructions. It makes .bmp sprites which I use Irfanview to turn in to a .jpg. The game's use of them is still a bit buggy it seems. There's a few threads about them around, so if you need more help, typing ani in the site search should help.
