Issue with Custom Girls

Is it normal for newly installed custom girls to NOT appear in the slave market, catacombs, or around town when I load a saved game? I keep having to start a new game when I install new custom girls.  I searched through the board, but didn't see any posts from people with this problem.

We ended up having this discussion in another thread.  I seem to be having the same problem as you, but supposedly they should load.

If you add a new girl to an existing .girls/.girlsx file, then shewon't show up in an existing game.  If you add a new .girlsx file, thegame should load the new file.  Girl files are tracked in the.gam.mast file, so if the new files aren't showing up there, then thegirls in new files definitely are not getting loaded.  I have a vaguerecollection of testing this maybe a month or two ago, so there mightbe something in the bug thread about it.
