If it's all the same... I'm waiting on the arena to be added before I download another release, but just thought I'd make the thread.

If you edited config.xml with the included WMEdit, that broke it.  Replace the config.xml with the one in the latest update.  Solved my problem.

Nah, that was a bug fixed in r452, the config.xml has nothing to do with it. Like the changelist notes indicate, to fix a game which has that problem, you simply need to open the savegame's .gam.mast file in notepad and delete the contents. That, or just start a new game.

Well, I'm using wm_1.30.1_beta_r450 with the (latest?) wm_1.30.2_update_r452 update and I never found a unique girl in town until I replaced the config.xml file.

I just d/led the the game from scratch (plus latest update) and I don't see any uniques either.

Do I remember a %chance of unique girl being added to the config? Could it be defaulting to zero?

the girls are loading however. They appear in the log file. So it's not that problem...

But they show up on walk around town. It's just the slave market... maybe I don't have any unique slaves ...

Hmm, just checked, and right you are. It seems the "Initial" part of the config isn't setting default values correctly, as you can also see if you remove the Gold value (you start with 0 gold instead of the default of 4000). I'll see about fixing that; I think I know why it's not using defaults properly like other sections.

EDIT: tracked down, it actually applied for any missing numerical value in the config. It was basically overwriting the default value with 0 if it wasn't found in the config.

There aren't unique slaves among the default girls, at least.
