room item option for girls

I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I would like to see the ability to 'design' rooms. either buy being able to buy items and put them into a brothel inventory, or a new spot in the girls inventory 'room items'.
these would/could effect the accommodation levels, the pleasure received by both the girl and customers, and cost the girls could demand/receive, and even attract customers.
some types of items would be pictures, furniture, tvs (which could increase movie sales), permanent flower arrangements (which would increase/create a building upkeep), gardens (for fetishes taking place outside, or for girls to relax in), rugs, and bathroom facilities.
if the brothel inventory is used maybe we could have a different shop for these items, so they could be categorized like the girls inventories are, and limits placed so that you don't have 20 couches and 20 beds.

This would quickly get tedious and doesn't really add anything, and also doesn't really fit into the game. A basic room quality slider is already being implemented, and that's probably the closest it's gonna get to this. No offense, but if you want room decorating go play The Sims.

People are already bitching lodging valid suggestions about equipping girls as it is, making mandatory room decorating for every room would probably force several people to suicide.

While I can see the current system of upgrading each brothel being expanded upon to allow more features to improve quality and customer attraction, doing something simular on a girl by girl basis would take the micromanaging to a rather insane level, especially when you can have over 200 girls and they already have inventories.

Programing wise, you'd basically be adding a second inventory to each girl, and I don't see why those items couldn't go into her current inventory, maybe create another category called "Personal Items."

If, however, later in development more focus is put onto the buildings themselves, I could see this issue returning.  Where buildings have a limited number of rooms, and each room can hold a limited number of girls.  With anything like this, limits will become extremely important to prevent the complexity from getting out of hand.  Just by saying, "Brothel 1 sits on a half acre of land." is a good enough excuse to limit how many rooms it can hold.

why would it be mandatory?
personally, even if they made a "increase accommodations' (or anything else like that) in the item editor would be enough. and no one has to use items if they don't want it.
and I was thinking girls inventory, because I assumed it would be easier to add a new spot then start a completely knew inventory store program. I would prefer a new one if this was implemented, but I also prefer to offer more then one option when I suggest things.
and if my other idea was implimented, it would be like 'bed upgrades' 5000g.  or garden 10000f, 50g upkeep/day
or naughty paintings 5000g, rugs 1000g.
I was thinking some of the building upgrades, with having so many new jobs, could be put through like that if it would be simpler.

I had been thinking about allowing the user to add fixtures to rooms. So your S&M specialist can add a rack to her room,  and get a bonus for bondage sessions. (Of course, with the current training mechanism the chance of anyone ever needing a specialist in anything is kind of remote...)

Another example would be to add a gaming table to a reception area and generate gambling income.  So I think I'd probably attach the fixtures to rooms, and then assign the girls to the rooms

It's not planned any time soon - all the more so with me out of the dev loop. Still, one day ...
