While currently everything is limited to the 0-100, I may increase the limits by scaling numbers above and below the limits.
So effectively, if a girl has (Base 100 + Temp 100 + Mod 100) her Total would be some amount of the 300 scaled down.
Probably amounts above 100 would be counted as 1/10 so 300 would be 120.
Negative numbers would be an entirely different can of worms (-20 charisma?) so probably not going to happen.
This would require a lot of running through the code so it will probably not come anytime soon.

How about something like this:

Base + Temp + Items = Subtotal with 0-100 limit

Subtotal + Traits = Total with 0-? (whatever you feel it's OK) limit

That way a girl with 100 titfuck and big breasts would have an advantage over other girls with just the skill maxed (which makes sense), and would make traits more relevant and desirable in a more tangible way.

I think having a maximum of 130% would be best
(Base = 0-100) + (Temp = 0-100) + (Item = 0-100) + (Traits = 0-100) = ( 0-100  ||  100 + 10%)

That could also solve my problems with girl creation,
when i have to sometimes make the base stats (like beauty and charisma) really low, because of the large bonus some traits give the girls
and i also want to keep a stat below 100, so items are still useful for her.

You misunderstood, although my phrasing was completely wrong now that I looked at it twice.
I meant raising the limit a bit - modifying its maximum/minimum values through stats/skills/items. Not making it "unlimited" per se, just more flexible.


Example: girls with huge tits traits could potentially gain up to 120 titfuck, while the ones with small tits something like 80 maximum.
I'm asking if it's possible to add a different +/- value modifier to the traits that would affect the limit of the stat/skill, not the active amount.
And I'm only talking about small amounts of modification, 10,20,30 per trait. They could stack though.


So instead of all girls having potentially from 0-100 in any skill/stat, their maximum/minimum amounts would vary depending on their personality/traits and items - with values like 20-120, 40-100, 0-60 etc.


If anything,  this serves as a technique increasing difficulty - because most of the traits would offer positive effects only at the price of very detrimental ones.


The reason why I touched upon the subject is partially due to my thought about a "Flat Chest" kind of trait... logically enough, a girl with nothing there shouldn't be able to even perform titfucking at all - what's she gonna do, rub her nipples all over? Yet, at the moment, it's possible for ANY girl to be an absolute prodigy at any sex act. How so? All things in life require a certain amount of talent- some people were simply born doing certain things better than others.


I also like the idea of certain girls being "specialised" in certain matters - one of your girls is good at that, the other at something else,  and so forth.
It would most certainly add variety to the game, and again, perhaps even balance  - since you can't just have every girl with maxed skills in everything after enough grind.

Ummm. Yes. And with the right girl, quite enjoyable. My point is that it becomes counterproductive to try to account for the vast amount of differentiation possible within human sexuality. The game will implode via complexity.

Keep the list of categories and attributes relatively small, and let pack creators deal with issues like 'titty fuck pictures for flat chested girls.' That really shouldn't be an issue the game itself has to care about.

That being said:

Variable skill ranges would be cool. If the game/player tries to make her do that act, treat it like a 'refuses to work' result.


This is strictly to deal with the fact that finding pictures of every girl doing everything is simply impossible. If all you can find are lesbian pictures, pack creators should be able to restrict the girl to only being able to perform lesbian sex acts. The more sadistic game player will have fun torturing the poor girl to death, while more humane players will not be annoyed by faux 'sex' acts with pictures that aren't even close.

I don't know who that neutral guy is, but he doesn't get rejected every time. I have no idea what status the game is trying to convey.

I am not a writer.
When I updated that job I didn't have any real text to put into it so I just added default responses.
So until someone writes texts for it, it will just use generic texts.

I looked in the script files to see if I could modify that particular interaction, but I didn't see it. (It is entirely possible that I missed it, the script editor is functional but not friendly.)


Is that something a non-coder could modify? If so, where is it?

We are if you can do what needs to be done.

That is hard coded so you wouldnt be able to that.

Again no its hard coded so not much u can do unless u can code.

As for helping if ur a good writer there is almost always something to write for the game.  Or just make some girl packs that always helps.

I found out two things...


there's a miscalculation in hpay integer... right now i says this


int hpay = totalPay * current->m_Stats[STAT_HOUSE];


shouldn't it all be:

int hpay = totalPay * (current->m_Stats[STAT_HOUSE]/100);


so that its 60% and not 60? and 100% and not 100?


Second thing I noticed, playing around with the pictures... I tried adding picture categories cause as a person I never tired of adding more pic groups just for the fun of it and I notice that say even if pictures I only want the non-preg variant only... that the compiled game will crash if I don't add the preg_offset line to it...

for example:  I wanted to add a RaceQueen category to the game... so I added const int IMGTYPE_RACEQUEEN = 3x;  but if I only have that line the compiled game crashes until I add const int IMGTYPE_PREGRACEQUEEN = IMGTYPE_RACEQUEEN + PREG_OFFSET;
and add the appropriate "racequeen*.*g" and racequeen*.ani

my question is would that be necessary from now on? even for types that I don't want the pregvariant to it?


Thanks in advance I just want to ask these questions for confirmation.

There are actually 4 places in the code that need to be updated when adding Image Types.
There are also 3 places in the code that need to be updated when adding Action Types.
I added notes for how to update them in r98.

I have been preoccupied with merging my characters folder with the most recent torrent.
I have finished the folders and am now up to 1320.

Be careful with those caps, a girl with 50 Base obedience, the Iron Will trait (-90 obedience) and nothing else would have 50 obedience due to Traits being limited to 0-100.

What I posted isn't completely free of this as well (it happens when Base+Temp+Items is a negative number and the girl has a positive trait), but on the other hand I like the effect it has on the upper cap (bad traits lower it).


As a side note, wasn't the number of small weapon slots reduced to 1?

I'm playing around a bit with the editor, and I've noticed there's a 'Affect all girls temporarily' Item Effect, but when I try to use it (to say, boost everyone's Libido by 100 as a test), it doesn't seem to get used, and when I try to log items, it doesn't seem to add anything to the Log File.

Has this been fully implemented? I'm using the latest build.

My bad - copy/paste error

(Base = 0 to 100) + (Temp = -100 to 100) + (Item = -100 to 100) + (Traits = -100 to 100) = (Final = 0 to 100 + (10% over 100))

A negative obedience would mean she actively tries to defy you all the time.
While this could really add to game play, it would require tons more scripting for actions

No, it was increased to 2 small weapons.


I'm playing around a bit with the editor, and I've noticed there's a 'Affect all girls temporarily' Item Effect, but when I try to use it (to say, boost everyone's Libido by 100 as a test), it doesn't seem to get used, and when I try to log items, it doesn't seem to add anything to the Log File.

Has this been fully implemented? I'm using the latest build.
I looked at this last week when I got an item that had it.
It is in the items code but is only so much as to be excluded, it currently has no effect.
I started trying to make it work but I got sidetracked on updating my girls packs.
