Fstop's Oversizes Characters Packs

The performance hit would be negligible. 
It took 5 hours because I had some 50 custom girls with multiple image sets for each, and I had to rename the files when moving them, finding the next available number.  So set 1 had 10 anal pictures, set 2 had 20, I'd have to rename all of the anal pictures in set 1 to Anal21, Anal22, etc and then move them, and then look for duplicates, and then renumber again.  I don't know if the last renumbering step was needed or not, but since I don't have access to the source code I can't check.

Just dumping them all into an Anal directory would make it much, much faster to merge picture sets.

You don't have to be so specific with your numbering - anything past the pic type in the file name is ignored anyway.  If you merge two sets of pics and have duplicate file names (say, two instances of "Anal 2.jpg"), then merge them and have windows keep both copies (it will add (2) to the second file's name).  "Anal 2.jpg" is treated the exact same way as "Anal 2(2).jpg", the game doesn't care as long as you get the first part right.

Looking for duplicates isn't made easier with folders.  If anything, it is made harder, because you might have the same pic under multiple categories.

Heh, I wish I had known that earlier.  Yeah, one folder is much easier if the file names are only significant for the first few characters.

yea if it wasnt for the new info about that only the first few character matter all my character packs (if I ever make one) will probebly just be anal, anal (2) anal (3) that that is over all the easiest way to make them

I work with so few Vista computers that I had forgotten that Vista lets you choose automatically to rename if filenames are the same. For XP, Server2003, and all earlier versions, you only have the choice to write over a file or not copy, both of which means you would have to rename the vast majority of your files regardless of location. I think I understand better where you were coming from now.

I think I found a whole bunch of pics you can use for Aegis. when I was fixing the pack I was like wow... this girl is the same as most of the ones in blondie (well the girl, not the pics).

Most of the time I just update old girls but I have only have a few that I'm basically to lazy to finish (like the pack I've announce but am to lazy to actually make the .girlx file =p)
