A call to all artists out there?

I'm thinking that in the near future I'm going to need some artists as from this point onwards my games will not contain downloaded images in order to stay away from copyright problems. However as I also don't have an income this presents a problem as some of my projects will be donation ware or will be attempts and selling commercially.


Possible solutions could be:
1. People give me permission to use their images (that they own the rites to i.e. the character is their creation) for projects and they retain the rights to them.
2. People donate images to my projects (this could also work with number 4).
3. A percentage of each sale or donation based on the percentage of work contributed.
4. You all suffer my coder art and let others mod better graphics in.
5. You all suffer my coder art and do nothing to improve the graphics


Well I'm open to suggestions and is anyone interested?

Hi there.

 I'd love to help, but i don't think of my art being enough professional ... instead i'd like to suggest (since i don't see other comments/offers atm) searching on galleries like i.e. deviantart . There are many talented artists (already known or still waiting to be discovered by some1)  that would possibly will to cooperate or at least would give rights to use some of their works. I have my own gallery there as well...

I know this is not much, but at least i can do this much xD.

Depending on what kinda art you are looking for Hentai Foundry also has artists that do commissioned work.

Excellent. I've got 1 person who has expressed interest and I will definitly hit up those sites when I reach the point where I have to replace the placeholder graphics, thanks guys

hehe only decently, I think your very good.
My plan is to finish the games first with simple graphics and release them as an "artless" release. That way potential artists can see exactly what needs to be done. So I will definitely pm you when the next game is done.

Yeah I agree with Necno 100% sunspirit. Don't sell yourself so short. You seriously have some talent.

I haven't played it myself in years. I Still get the rulebooks though. 40k is some great fiction.

Speaking of the Tabletop Warhammer (Warhammer 40k) games. I used to play Space Hulk myself.  That brings me back to my early teens.
