Purple Pleasure - New Whore Master Interface (Custom) - RELEASED

Hello,

I am a hobbyist Vector Artists and decided to give the Whore Master interface an overhaul since it lacks.... Pink and Purple!
This project was meant to apply for this project as contributor of graphic files but I am too busy atm, and also to ask the devs some questions about interface modding for further user contributions.

If you don't know what Vector graphics are, they consist of mathemical data points and are being drawn using bezier curves and the like. Editing stuff is nondestructive unlike Bitmap graphics. Also, size doesn't matter, tho the buttons would look more detailed in a bigger res .

Hand drawn with Inkscape (free), title Picture is made out of various custom grunges, leave effects etc. The Asian Girl is a 3D render I took from another programm once. Finished Interface for 1.29.4.6 Includes: Purple Interface, and Town Icons.

Installation:
Extract the Contents of 'Purple Pleasure' into your Whore Master 'Resources' directory. THATS IT!

I love your title, font choice, and over all design. But I don't care for that title screen at all. Nice up though, Sad to say but you might have to update it once 1.30 comes out.

It will have to go through an update once 1.30 comes out, I am not sure on the colors at the moment, I will get back to you later on that.
 
edit-- the border colors are stored in interfacecolors.txt.  It will have to be a solid color in it rgb form though.

Nice work

As delta says, things are going to be changing with 1.30. For one thing the screen definitions are going XML, and you'll be able to add extra images to a screen.

On the other hand, that's going to mean some re-working of the code behind the screens, so it's not likely happen all at once. It's going to be a bit of a moving target for while, I'm afraid.

This should include all Buttons and Icons.

I also uploaded the source images. You need the free and easy to use inkscape vector program to make use of the SVGs. You can export PNGs out of inkscape easily in 2 clicks.

Hope you like it and I hope some folks keep it up to date since I lack the time to do so!

Actually I am not to fond of the background (title image) image myself, but while actually ingame you only see 20% of it, and these 20% really fit in with the overall design.

Yes I think Inkscape is great But its not really stable and has some bugs/glitches that give me a headache sometimes... Anyway, since I added the Inkscape SVGs to the thread I hope somebody will make use them when newer versions come out.

I hope I achieved what I tried, that is giving WM a unique, albeit purple, look. You devs are doing great work with WM

No promises, I'm afraid. Necno adopted Dagoth's UI on the understanding that he'd maintain it. I could probably do it, but my priority is coding and bug-fixing. For that matter, I have my own UI mod, which hasn't been updated since around 1.24, purely because I don't have time for it.
