ok, this is prob. a noob question but...

two things i dont understand the use of are the town hall's "influence" and the prison, about 80 weeks in, prison never used at all, and influence is at 99%, what is the benefit, and what do they do?

If your suspicion is above 20, then the police may raid your brothels.
Your Influence adjusts this in your favor while your rivals influence adjusts it against you.
The raid can catch girls who have drugs and sends them to prison.
They can also fine you some money.

Influence can also lower your taxes from 6% to a minimum of 1%
