Hmm, well the game is an RPG so far as you control a single character. However your character has a job such as blacksmith, hunter/trapper and so on. The idea of the game is you must survive day to day life performing your job. A part of these jobs is running a business and as new jobs can be coded in using the script engine you could code in a brothel (Although there is a good chance I will include a brothel manager job as a possible choice).
Unlike whoremaster you won't have as much control over your girls and sex won't have so many variations. For example if a girl sleeps with a client you won't know what sort of sex it was and all that stuff.... of course you could mod in more detail

.
The RPG aspects are pretty involving but you could play the game as say a blacksmith without ever having ventured into one of the games 'adventure zones' where are areas you explore with your party (or by yourself).
There will only be 3 professions on initial release as they require a lot of scripting to get them to a level where you can play as that sort of character and not get bored.
In the game time passes and your character gets older, when you die (either from losing a fight or from old age) you can take control of one of your children (if you have any) and continue the game as them. However you cannot take control of siblings so if you die as that child without having children of their own then it is game over.
Dying is permanent in the game as when you die your save game is deleted and you are returned to the high scores screen. Also when you die a 'bones' file is saved so that you can visit the bones of previous deaths with new characters and maybe even find something they used to own. This permanent death is optional but if disabled your score will not be saved nor will a bones file be saved.
That's about all I can release at the moment. The first release is going to be the combat system test (with limited magic). I'm going to be releasing the components of the game as parts so that each part can be balanced and bug squashed separately. Meaning when the parts are brought together they will be much more complete and balanced than if I did it separately.
