  I've decided to write a tutorial on how I would approach downloading and modding this game. It is meant for Guests of this forum and newcomers that would prefer clear instructions instead of figuring out how add girls without getting doubles or creating a mess.

 1) Download the game from:

 2) Unzip the game
 
 3) Go to "Game Folder"/Resources/Characters and delete "Girls.girlsx" and "GirlsAddon1.girlsx". This step will prevent you getting any doubles (Same Unique girl appearing twice)
 
 4) Go to this thread and download girls packs from any shows that you like:

 Search functions of the forums is a good option as current AGL is incomplete.
 Note that some girls from a more "high profile" Anime/Manga/Cartoons will have hundreds of pics while some less known shows might get less then a dozen.
 
- If you are planning to download lots of files, a download manager like: http://wordrider.net/freerapid/ might be of great help. All you have to do is Download the manager, unzip, start the program and then copy links to all Packs you want into the clipboard (Highlight using your mouse and press Ctrl + c), you can also highlight the entire section (Text), not just links, manager will sort everything out. If downloads are starting to fail, you will have to go to any of the links and fill in a captcha.

 5) Unzip the contents of girl packs to "Game Folder"/Resources/Characters folder
 
 6) Play the game

- You can often find image addons for girls by using the "Search" function in "User Mods" section.

- You can change resolution of the game by editing: ScreenMode.txt in the "Game Folder" using notepad (*Or any texteditor of your choice). How to edit the file is explained inside.
 
- Most issues you might have with starting the game will be solved with this:

- If the game crushes when you press "Next Week", look for a name of last girl mentioned in gamelog.txt file, load your last save and reassign her task for the next week. This will solve most of the "Next Week" crashing scenarios. In most cases game would crash because of a Torturer.

 This is a guide on how I would approach building packs for WM. It includes pichunting, cleaning process and some tricks, nothing new for a modder but this can still be very useful.


 
Section 1: Hunting Grounds:
Intro:
There are many sources for pictures and non has all the pics at one place. There are two approaches to pichunting, one is to check everything and make every image count, that is what I would do if I cannot find enough pictures on mass storage sites or when making a pack for a show I care about (Will create a lot of doubles). Second is to check the first mass storage site that comes into your mind and if enough pics are found, make the pack. Good enough for a show/girl you do not really care about.

• Paheal domain, this is the king, no other site has this amount of sorted through images, downside: it is slow as hell and often gives errors.
• Often requires _ to be used in searches, you would want to use “sakura_haruno” instead of sakura haruno for example. Rule34 has the largest amount of pics.

• http://booru.org/
• Booru domain, this is also a huge domain with much better image tagging than paheal. Also has many subdomains that specialize in specific groups of images (Furry/Yuri/Safe etc.)
• Often requires _ to be used in searches and has many pictures for “Profile” category under “safe” domain. Gelbooru/Rule34 have the larges amount of pics.

• Large portal with a very good database. Lots of Anime/Manga/Hentai relevant news and information as well as pics.
• Often requires _ to be used in searches and probably has the best tagging. Two things that give their database an advantage is that they display all pictures on one page and give you pointers when using the “Search” function that are often extremely useful.

 
Group/Folder Mass Storage:
 

• http://g.e-hentai.org/
• Pics here are sorted by “Groups” instead of tags, huge site with a very good coverage.
• This is a very useful website, lots of complete CG's and “personal” collections, also has a “torrent” section.

• http://lu.scio.us/
• Sorted by “personal” folders as well, far less advanced than E-H.
• Takes a lot of time and ads are really annoying but you can often hunt down a couple rare pics for high profile shows.

 
 P2P services:
 

• Torrent/Emule/NewsGroups etc
• Filesharing can be a decent source but only if you know what you're doing.
• It is more often than not useless to search by shows or specific characters but can be useful is you search by entire “Siterips”. Pictures from good paysites or CG's can often be downloaded in bulk but you need to know what to expect from those paysites/CG's before downloading.

Forums/Dens/Rest:

• Maybe you haven't heard of Rule34 or E-H but if you've never heard of hongfire, you shouldn't be on this forum
• This is the best Forum for everything of Anime/Hentai nature: CG's, Games, Movies, Series etc. Might not be the best place to go looking for pictures but this site offers a decent content and many links to torrent/filesharing.

• Artist Dens and forums.
• These are very good sources for Furry and Western art, on forums you can also find decent threads on Easter art. Four or five years ago this would be “The Place” to go looking for pics, today it is less relevant because most people who post here, post on Paheal as well and viceversa. Still, this is a great place to start your “Base” for a western pack, especially in threads that are looked after by motivated fans. Insane amount of artists who today “do” paysites came from here originally.

• Actually this would be the place you'd go five years ago I loved the old forum design but this can still be a good place to look for a pic that was lost on Paheal.

• More like a Artist Den/Image Board.
• Loads of crap art here but you can often find pretty decent “Preg” or “Profile” pictures if all other sources have failed. Please note that this site has a horrible internal search engine and you will often find more if you use “Google Site Search”.

• http://www.google.com/ , http://www.google.com/imghp
• Hmm, if you never heard of this, you shouldn't be on the net :0
• Don't underestimate Google (Ever). Use to look for Artist websites, Specializing Websites and smaller website that feature shows that you are looking for. You can often find sexy HQ screencaps/image manipulations or Fan Art that is not available elsewhere. Google Image is also a useful tool, Drag/Drop function will often find you same image of a better quality and simple search might get you decent images for “Preg” and “Profile” categories *Make sure “SafeSearch” is off. Search in every language you know and Japanese (Use Wiki and Google Translate), there is a decent amount of boards/forums in Spanish, Russian, French etc. that sometimes have unique or old and forgotten pics.

 
Is this all...? nope, there are hundreds more websites of all kinds with images but these are the largest and it is more than enough to get you started. You can build your own fav folder in your favorite browser, the longer you hang around hongfire, WW, HP and google the better your base will be but it is very unlikely that it will give you a much better selection than the base of sites in this post, many people who find decent art while browsing the net post their finds on sites like Paheal/Booru and forums.

 
Section 2: Pic Hunting:

So.. with sources covered: The Process:

I will post my own way for downloading images, if you have any ideas on how to improve on that process, please let me know. Note that I use Firefox. If you download in bulk, it is selfexplanatory but if you hunt pic by pic, you might want to try and improve your process.

• Zoom in. Use the “Ctrl + +” to zoom in into thumbnails on forums and mass storage websites, try to sort as much of crap art as you can before it hits your harddrive.
• Open pictures in new tabs and use plugin to “Grab” *Make sure to create a folder first or you'll make a mess, note that more often than not, ads will be opened with your images so you might want to “Grab” before you hit a few hundred tabs or your browser will hang. (I use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pterodactl/ )

 
Section 3: Cleaning:

• Go though all images you've downloaded using your favorite viewer and delete all the crap art/useless pics/ads that were “grabbed” by mistake. This is a pretty personal step because it “gives every pack a flavor”, everyone have their own preferences for artists and pictures they'd use.
• Press Ctrl + A, rightclick on any image and choose “Rename” from the menu, rename to 1 (This will insure that all images renamed into categories later will go to the end of the list (If sorted by Name)).
• Use Ctrl + MouseWheelUp to zoom into your thumbs to the max.
• Hold Ctrl and highlight all pics that you want to put into specific category (Mouse click on images you want) use scroll-bar to scroll down/up *This is another step that can "personalize" your pack, right mouse button click on any of the highlighted pics and “Rename” from the menu (Make sure to rename “Preg” category to Preg1 and NOT to Preg because the latter (Even one pic) will crash the category *You are fine if your pics are called Preg1 (1).jpg or Preg1-1.jpeg)
• Convert all image formats to JPEG using your favorite software (You can do that before or after any step) ( I use http://www.nchsoftware.com/imageconverter/index.html cause it's awesome and I love software that preforms one specific function but does that perfectly...)
• Last quality control, use viewer to go through your pack and sort out all pics you misplaces because there are things you cannot see even in “Large Thumbs”.
• Hunt down all doubles, less important for large packs because it is not annoying if you get double after you went through 20 pictures... One thing that helps here is to adjust the size of the thumbs and look at the images in different “order”. I've heard of software that can trace doubles for you but never tried it *I assume it will be annoying if you use multiple pics from the same CG, I do not consider this section particularly important as long as you give the process a couple of minutes to get rid of all obvious doubles.
• Resize. This is optional... Use your favourite software to resize pictures to make a smaller pack. (I use (http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/ )

Section 4: Only if your are making a fresh pack (Not just image updates).

• Go to “ Parent Folder”\Docs&Tools\Character & Item Editor and execute WMEdit.exe (Start as administrator is sometimes required in Vista/Seven to edit or create new files) Point your mouse over “Traits” or “Stats” that you can't understand for explanation/help, the program is very basic.
• If you don't know the personalities of characters that you are making the pack for, use wiki/wikia or a fansite with personality descriptions, same can be used for copy/pasting description for your girls.
• If you are making packs for the show that is still not covered, please try to make a pack for all of the girls from the show to avoid conflicts/confusion.

Section 5: Upload:

• Use your favorite software to compress the pack (I use http://www.rarlab.com/ ) and post on the filesharing site of your choice (I use http://www.mediafire.com/ ) Most of the filesharing websites are free (MF is free as well)
• Post on http://pinkpetal.org/index.php (LoL)

Thanks, but you've misunderstood me. I can find out the show in about 3 secs. The trouble is choosing pictures... When you make a pack for a girl from the show you've seen, you can choose all the right pictures but when you do it for a girl you know next to nothing about, you often pick "commissioned" art that while looking really sexy and professionally drawn, barely resembles the girl as she is in manga or anime...

That's one of the reasons I've started updating already existing girls, in many sets even if there are plenty of pictures, they are often VERY poorly chosen

If you want you can update the one in the Active girl pack there is already a lot just need to clean a little the crapy one (i usualy do it for all pack i put in the game) already a lot of realy good pic inside and add some more (less work )
